About

Hi, thanks so much for being here and being curious.  Click here for a formal resume of my recent work. I look forward to hearing your story and how we can connect.

I was born traveling. I was raised playing on beaches and in forests, scavenging for shellfish, berries, and roots. I hiked the mountains and camped everywhere. I loved fairies and ferries. I read Edgar Cayce. I also was good at doing the ‘shoulds’ and easily became a young leader. I think I was pretty bossy. My younger brother probably has something to say about that.
Combining my love of nature and how things really work, I became a teacher of energy awareness. Professionally, I shifted from being the sage-on-the-stage to being a -guide-on-the-side. Broccoli, the vegetable and mathematical equation of fractals and growth, emerged in my U Vic classrooms. I seriously loved combining my passions!
My parents decided to go to Mum’s family home in Africa. My brother and I got our first jobs so we could go too. We plotted routes on a world map. We researched and ‘sold’ the family on stopovers. My brother got us to Greece. I got us to underground churches in Ethiopia. We celebrated new year’s eve on Copacabana Beach in Rio.
I became a travel agent. I traveled a lot to every continent except Antarctica. Always moving, always learning.
I love training trainers and facilitating positive change with thousands of people in travel and tourism, accounting, welding, film making, engineering, health care, First Nations, churches, senior management, art, government employees, and activists in the art of designing and facilitating effective training programs and facilitating positive change.
I opened one of the first travel schools in Canada. We had amazing students, designed and delivered a great curriculum, and ‘National’ used our curriculum to develop national occupational standards. I was the sage-on the stage and loving it! My life was perfect. At least on the outside until it all unraveled.
Catastrophically. Inwardly, I was lost. I went back to school.
I have always been deeply curious about how my life, in this world, really works.
My Masters degree in Adult Education was in quantum physics and how people learn. They told me it was impossible. I did it anyway.  My first instructional gig in the university’s Adult Learning program was to teach 30 people Adult Education, around North America.
My purpose is to personally grow in consciousness and to assist those ready to do the same…in the university of you. In-person and online.
